Wife, Mom, Life Coach, Counselor, Clemson Alum, and now small business owner….who specializes in helping people organize the chaos in their life!
About
Heather was born and raised in Anderson, SC, and she has lived in the Lowcountry since 2005. She received her BA in Psychology with a Minor in Women’s Studies from Clemson University in 2005, MA in Counseling from Webster University in 2007, and Master Certificate in Public Health from the University of Maryland in 2014. She is a Licensed Addictions Counselor, Master Addictions Counselor, and an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
She has worked as a counselor in a private practice, for the Berkeley County government, the Charleston County government, and the United States Marine Corps (USMC). She is also an active volunteer for her daughter’s school and an avid Clemson football fan! Go Tigers!
Always an empathetic person, a series of personal tragedies placed Heather into a career field of counseling and helping others work through their own life complexities. An eye for detail and order, Heather has always been meticulously organized and tidy. After spending a several years working as a counselor for Berkeley county, she worked overseas in Japan as a prevention specialist for our esteemed United States Marine Corps helping active duty and their dependents. She was also the main event coordinator for Color Runs, various 5k runs, Red Ribbon Week, and other community outreach items. Upon returning home to South Carolina, Heather worked for several years as a counselor for Charleston County. With all the skills and experience she gained through her journey, it was time to start her own business to continue to help people and families improve their lives.
